Tree Island Bargaining Update #3

Your bargaining committee met with the employer on Thursday, April 9. Negotiations were significant and productive. Agreement was reached on the non-monetary component of the proposal package, with meaningful improvements to several areas of the contract including union security and representation, layoff and recall, and temporary employees. Monetary discussions will commence on Monday, April 13, with subsequent dates scheduled on April 17 and 20.
