Your union and Ironworkers Union, Local #97 and Ironworkers Trade Improvement Plan will be heading to the bargaining table to negotiate a new collective agreement.
Bargaining Committee Appointment
Currently, your worksite does not have a job steward. In preparation for bargaining, we need to appoint a job steward to serve with Union Representative April Young on the bargaining committee. Please consider putting your name forward to fill this important role.

Bargaining Survey
A bargaining survey will be distributed to you at your home email address therefore it is very important that we have your most current contact information. You can update us here.
The survey asks a series of questions about your work and conditions of employment. It is designed to find out what is good about your current working conditions and what could be improved upon. Please keep an eye out for the survey. Your participation and feedback is critical to our success at the bargaining table.
It’s incredibly important for you to offer your input to your bargaining committee members. They are your voice at the table and they need to hear from you. I hope everyone will take the time to meet with your committee members and voice your thoughts and concerns regarding the collective agreement.

I will be following up shortly to notify you of your bargaining committee appointments and an upcoming membership meeting to discuss our upcoming round of negotiations.
