Coast Mountain Bus Company – Bargaining Committee Elections

To: All MoveUP members at Coast Mountain Bus Company
Your union has been working very hard to prepare for the upcoming bargaining committee election.
While it is not possible to have a representative from every department at the bargaining table, we conducted a thorough review and considered numerous factors in determining the most effective makeup of our bargaining committee that enables us to have as much insight across the membership as possible.
Accordingly, we have created four constituencies across CMBC:
- Customer Information and Scheduling (including Lost Property)
- Transit Security
- Training and Depot
- Miscellaneous (Office, Clerical, Technical and Administrative employees that do not work in one of the other three constituencies)
Job stewards from these constituencies are eligible to run for a position on the committee and each member will be entitled to vote for one of the candidates in their constituency.
Any job steward interested in serving on the bargaining committee must submit their name and department to Kory Berikoff at kberikoff@moveuptogether.ca by 4:30 p.m. PT on Friday November 21, 2025, in order to be placed on the ballot.
Once we have determined which constituencies have multiple candidates interested, we will conduct elections for those constituencies as needed.
