Join public sector workers for a rally in Victoria on Monday, October 6

Since September 2, members of the BCGEU and PEA have been on strike fighting for fair wages and strong public services, and they need our support!
The members of BCGEU and PEA are fighting for a fair collective agreement that includes wage improvements that fairly reflects the value of what public sector workers bring to our communities.
On Monday, October 6, they will be taking their fight for a fair deal straight to the government’s doorstep as the fall legislative session begins.
Representatives from MoveUP will be taking part in this rally.
We will assemble at Centennial Square at 10:30 a.m., then march together — our voices growing louder and stronger as we pick up striking members along the way — until we fill the Legislature lawn at noon with a message government can’t ignore: we’re united, we’re strong, and we won’t settle for less than a fair deal.
When: Monday, October 6
Where: March leaves Centennial Square (1 Centennial Square) at 11 a.m. to march to the Legislature lawn for 12 p.m.
If you do not have any work commitments, we encourage you to join this rally. MoveUP members who work at workplaces that may be affected by picket lines will receive further communication by Sunday evening.
