Join MoveUP at the Prince George Pride Parade this Saturday, July 12!

To: All MoveUP members in Prince George and surrounding areas
The 2025 Prince George Pride Parade takes place this Saturday, July 12 and we want to invite our amazing members, along with their friends and family, to march with us in the parade to help represent our union with pride, solidarity, and joy!
Meeting place: Meet Executive Councillor Colleen Rayner and Job Steward Tasha Bruce in the parking lot off of 10th Ave near the Subway Restaurant at 1010 Victoria Street.
Meeting time: Please be at the meeting place no later than 9:30 a.m. as the parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Veteran’s Plaza (1100 Patricia Street).
Parade Route: The parade will go from Veteran’s Plaza through Downtown Prince George and end at the festival site.

About Pride in Prince George:
Prince George has a vibrant 2SLGBTQIA+ community, with people coming from all around to celebrate. This small-town Pride offers a different kind of experience—with fewer people and smaller events, but the inclusion, solidarity and celebration of the queer community is just as energetic as the larger events in BC. MoveUP has proudly participated in this event the last four years and we are very excited to march again in this year’s parade.
