Victoria Shipyards – Bargaining Survey

All MoveUP Members at Victoria Shipyards
Your current collective agreement expires on February 28, 2026 however, your union, along with the rest of the unions representing members at Victoria Shipyards, have agreed to open up bargaining early with your employer. The employer has now agreed to full bargaining without the restrictions of limited proposals or an arbitrary timeline attached.
In order to represent your interests, a bargaining survey link will be sent to you at your home email address. If you do not receive the survey link, please let us know by responding to this email.
The Vancouver Island Metal Trades Committee, which is comprised of all nine unions at Victoria Shipyards, will be meeting on Friday, March 21 to review the survey results. We understand that the turnaround time is limited but request that all members complete the online survey by the deadline of noon on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
