Salal Sexual Violence Support Centre Society – Bargaining Update #2

To: All MoveUP members at Salal Sexual Violence Support Centre Society
We are writing to update you on the recent bargaining sessions held with your employer on February 6 and 11, 2025.
Conversations with the employer have been meaningful and productive. Further to identifying and improving language in areas requiring clarification, your committee was able to achieve progress on items surrounding, but not limited to:
- new and additional paid leaves
- enhanced language relating to the Wellness Hour
- performance evaluations
- shift differentials
- statutory holidays
- living expenses
The next session is scheduled for February 18, and we are committed to keeping you informed with our progress. Your support contributes significantly to our efforts and progress. Stay tuned for more updates, and please make sure that your contact is updated on the Member’s Portal on the MoveUP website.
