Enterprise – SEIU Local 2 – Update on picket line at YVR

To: All MoveUP members at Enterprise
SEIU Local 2, the union that represents Alpine Building Maintenance members at YVR, has provided an update for us on their upcoming job action.
Beginning Tuesday, December 24 at 9 a.m., they will be moving to active picket lines which may affect access to YVR.
If you encounter a picket line at YVR, DO NOT cross it. This includes not entering YVR during your breaks if you encounter a picket line. Your collective agreement has protective language to ensure that you do not cross a legal picket line.
If you are working onsite and encounter a picket line blocking your ability to get to work, please contact me at wedgar@moveuptogether.ca or your job steward.
We ask all our members to show their solidarity and support to the striking SEIU members.
