September 16, 2024

To: All MoveUP members at ICBC Claims Adjusters,Claims Adjusters Commercial, Estimators, Injury Adjusters, Claims Examiners, Senior Claims Examiners, Recovery Coordinators, Support & Recovery Specialists, Senior Support & Recovery Specialists, Advanced Support & Recovery Specialists, Estimators – Specialty Vehicle, Material Damage Supervisors, Commercial Claims Appraisers, and Claims Specialists

This is a reminder regarding the Workload Complaint Form. Your Union would like to facilitate the reporting and logging of these complaints so that we may utilize the process within Letter of Understanding #18 to tackle this important conversation. To do so we require more information from the affected folks.

We are enclosing the link to a Microsoft Form that will allow you to bring your concerns forward to your Workload Coordinator and your Union. Your Workload Coordinator and your Union will use the data collected to move forward with formal complaints where applicable or warranted. Please click here to access the form.

We also want to highlight the importance of psychological health and wellbeing. If you are feeling the effects of a demanding workload, we encourage you to contact your doctor and/or consider reaching out for support through the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) at 1-866-395-9191.  Taking care of your mental health is just as important as managing your physical health.

The Workload Complaint Form deadline has been extended to September 22nd, 2024.

If you have any questions regarding the above, please contact Herbert Magana, Workload Coordinator at Herbert.magana@icbc.com or Sara Colliss, Union Representative at scolliss@moveuptogether.ca or 604-837-9471.

In solidarity,

Herbert Magana, Workload Coordinator
Sara Colliss, Union Representative
