Alpine Counselling Clinic – Bargaining Update #1

To: All MoveUP Members at ACCL
Your Bargaining Committee met with your employer on September 9, 2024, to commence collective bargaining. During this meeting, your committee presented a comprehensive proposal package to your employer’s representatives based on the requested improvements that were identified in the bargaining survey and at membership meetings.
As is the normal process for bargaining, the parties have agreed to address non-monetary items before discussing monetary proposals. There was some respectful dialogue with your employer’s bargaining committee, and we were able to make progress in discussing the proposals that we tabled. We will continue these discussions at our next session. The parties will be meeting again on September 26 and 27 to continue bargaining.
