TST-CF Express – Member Benefits

To: All MoveUP members at TST-CF
Your Union understands that there have been several new hires over the summer, and we want to take this opportunity to remind everyone to review your collective agreement and ensure you are familiar with your benefits.
Here are some key points to keep in mind:
Paramedical: Massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractor, acupuncture, osteopathy, natural path, podiatrist, chiropodist, speech therapist, psychologist, social worker and dietitian are limited to a maximum amount of $750 per person each calendar year.
Vision Care: Benefits for either eyeglasses or contact lenses are included under the Plan to a maximum of three hundred dollars ($300) in any twenty-four (24) month period for the employee or for any registered dependent of the employee. This amount will include replacement of frames only when the old frames cannot be adapted to the new lenses.
Dental plan: Premiums will be the responsibility of the employer after the employee completes probation of ninety (90) calendar days as per article 6.02
Footwear: Any employee who is required to wear CSA approved footwear will be reimbursed up to $150.00 per year upon providing a receipt for the purchase.
Your Union representatives will be visiting your location in September, and we encourage you to come and speak with us. We have sent individual emails to each location, outlining the specific date and time of our meetings.
