Vancouver Shipyards – Bargaining Update #2

To: All MoveUP members at Vancouver Shipyards

As you know, your collective agreement expired on February 28, 2023.

The Poly-Party unions at Vancouver Shipyards, including MoveUP, has met with the employer 11 times so far and we currently have 20 more dates scheduled between now and the end of November. Progress is being made and proposals are being signed off.

We anticipate moving on to the non-monetary proposals specific to MoveUP in the next few sessions.

We will keep you updated as things progress.
