FBC-CSC Prince George – Expression of Interest: Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee

To: All MoveUP members at FBC-CSC Prince George
MoveUP is looking to fill an alternative representative vacancy on our Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee. The committee members serve alongside employer representatives and work to ensure that any health and safety related concerns in the workplace are addressed.
Now more than ever we need to ensure union representation is at the JOH&S table!
The committee will be responsible for meeting monthly to identify and make recommendations that correct unsafe and unhealthy work environments. Per the Workers Compensation Act, time spent on approved committee activities and meetings shall be without loss of pay.
Expressions of interest should be forwarded to Rysa Kronebusch at rkronebusch@moveuptogether.ca. All bargaining unit committee members are appointed by President Lori Mayhew in accordance with our constitution. Please feel free to contact me if you would like further information.
