Southern Railway of BC – September 19 Holiday

As you have likely just heard, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has heralded that Monday, Sept. 19, the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, will be a federal holiday.

Premier John Horgan has also declared Monday, Sept. 19, a day of remembrance this year to align with the federal decision to mark the Queen’s funeral with a holiday.

Public schools, including post-secondary institutions, and most Crown corporations will be closed.

We’ve confirmed that your Employer will be honouring the holiday.
