Vancouver Shipyards – Picketing Schedule

To: All MoveUP members at Vancouver Shipyards
Your union will be working on creating a picket schedule for all members to complete their picket duty. As mentioned at the membership meeting of August 24, picket pay is $550.00 per week. In order to receive this, you must complete your four (4) hours a day, five (5) days a week and submit your pay stubs in order to receive compensation.
Until a formal picket schedule is made, please complete your four (4) hours during your regularly scheduled shift until you hear otherwise.
When you arrive at the picket line, please enter the beige tent. In the northeast corner of the tent will be a large box with MoveUP signs, a sign in sheet, and some swag. Please wear a picket sign, print, and sign your name on the sheet in the blue folder, and note the start time for picketing. Once you’ve completed your four (4) hours, you can sign out on the same sheet and note the end time. The Canadian Merchant Service Guild will be here on the line 24/7 and know this information as well.
