NOTICE OF BY-ELECTION – Executive Councillor Areas #1542 – #1544

EC areas #1542 – #1544 represents members employed at TransLink
There are three (3) Executive Councillor positions in this at-large area. One (1) of these positions is currently filled.
Term Ending: April 30, 2023
In accordance with the constitution, we are running a by-election for the above councillor positions. Duties of the executive council are detailed in article 7.4 of the constitution.
As an executive councillor in your workplace, you are the spokesperson for your union. You are a vital link between the membership and the elected leadership. You, along with other job stewards, speak for your fellow members in the day to day relations between our union and management. In addition, you attend five executive council meetings a year where you can participate in the direction and decision making of your union. You can find more detailed information on your role in the Executive Councillor Handbook, which is available on the resources page for stewards and councillors of our website.
SEAN GOSSE has submitted a nomination form for the above positions. If there are no other nominations received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2022, Sean Gosse will be declared the successful candidate.
