Notice of By-Election – Nominations Open – Executive Councillor Areas #1203-#1205

To: All MoveUP Members of EC Areas # 1203-#1205
EC Areas #1203 – #1205 represents members employed at BC Hydro at Dunsmuir 1st Floor to 17th Floor, ESC Leave Admin. Members employed at Accenture Dunsmuir 11th Floor.
There are three at-large positions in these EC areas. One of these councillor positions is currently filled.
Term Ending: April 30, 2023
Due to the resignation of Rajesh Singh and in accordance with the constitution, we are running a by-election for the above councillor positions.
As an executive councillor in your workplace, you are the spokesperson for your union. You are a vital link between the membership and the elected leadership. You, along with other job stewards, speak for your fellow members in the day to day relations between our union and management. In addition, you attend five executive council meetings a year where you can participate in the direction and decision making of your union. You can find more detailed information on your role in the Executive Councillor Handbook which is available on the resources page for stewards and councillors of our website.
