BCGEU – Mediation Update – November 6

To: All MoveUP Members at BCGEU
The parties met with Mediator Vince Ready this morning to possibly reach a deal that we could recommend to you. Regrettably, we saw no substantive movement from the employer on the issues that matter to you most. As such, mediation ended, and we will be continuing with our job action as planned, however, Mr. Ready has agreed to be available to the parties for future mediation.
Please make every effort to attend the membership meeting scheduled for this Monday, November 8 at 7:00 pm. Picket Captains will meet at 6:00 pm on Monday as well.
