TST-CF – No union dues until you get a contract

To: All MoveUP members at TST-CF
We understand that your employer recently emailed you a MoveUP Membership and Union dues form. This is an important next step, so please fill in the form and return it.
MoveUP’s policy is that we do not collect any money until new members have a contract. We are currently negotiating how to integrate you as new members into the existing collective agreement (contract). The employer is required to send you these forms, however, MoveUP will not collect any dues until then.
If Union dues are deducted from your pay by mistake, please contact your payroll or Human Resources department. MoveUP has advised the employer not to collect dues at this time.
Two important reminders:
- All members must send emails from their home address. Unfortunately, MoveUP is still being blocked from sending you emails to your work email. So please send from your home email address.
- We also have some more good news, as of June 17th, the general provision of the collective agreement now applies to you, please click here to review your collective agreement.
During the summer months we are continuing to work with your employer to integrate your job into the collective agreement. Multiple MoveUP staff are involved, and please know when one is taking time off there are others working on your behalf.
