Coast Mountain Bus – Vancouver Coastal Health- Vaccination Clinics for CMBC Employees

To: All MoveUP members at Coast Mountain Bus
We are writing today with information we received from your employer late last night. Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) will be conducting vaccination clinics for employees at CMBC based at worksites inside the Vancouver Coastal Health region. These locations include:
- Hamilton Transit Centre
- Lost Property
- Richmond Transit Centre
- SeaBus
- Trolley Overhead
- Vancouver Transit Centre
Also included are those who spend a substantial amount of work time in the VCH area such as:
- Transit Security Officers
We have been advised that these expedited vaccinations are not a result of the employers requests to government to include front-line transit workers in the priority vaccination groups. Rather, Vancouver Coastal Health is prioritizing various work sectors within their region and we’re grateful to have been included.
To those of you noted above:
All employees born in 2003 and earlier who are based at the above six locations such as Depot staff, and Lost Property employees, among others, will be given the opportunity to get vaccinated.
You will receive information from your manager or supervisor on how to book your appointment.
