To: All MoveUP members at BCH & Powertech
It has come to our attention that some MoveUP members have been directed by their managers to provide personal photographs and information about their personal lives for use in internal newsletters. This is despite advising their managers that they do not wish to provide this information or have it published in a newsletter.
You have the right to refuse to provide personal photographs or information to your employer that is not directly related to your employment. You also have the right to decline to have this information published, even in an internal newsletter.
If you are directed to provide personal photographs or information to your employer despite advising that you do not wish to do so, please contact a job steward.
