We understand the stress and confusion you have experienced since the employer locked you out on Friday, February 26, 2021. This is the second time the employer has put you out of work in the past twelve months. We are extremely concerned about the employer’s conduct during the bargaining process.
As you know, we filed a Section 11 bad faith bargaining complaint in October 2020 and had the employer rescind the layoff notices as a result. We have filed another application at the BC Labour Board. We asked the Board to end the employer’s lockout and for you to return to work, until the matter can be heard on the merits.
