CMBC – Shift Schedule and Return to Gateway

Thanks to all the members who supported one another in raising concerns about the proposed shift schedule changes. The changes will not be taking place on February 1 as proposed, and you have provided your stewards and representatives with great information for consultations with management on any future schedule change.

MoveUP stewards and representatives have already begun work to ensure that the return to the Gateway site is done in compliance with the rights of members to a safe and healthy work place following the Covid-19 safety protocols. MoveUP has put a great emphasis on health and safety throughout the pandemic and we have learned a lot from members elsewhere who have stayed on site. We are taking a close look at preparations for Customer Information to return to the workplace.
