*REMINDER* BCGEU – Bargaining Committee Nominations
November 25, 2020
To: All EC & JS at BCGEU
As discussed in our November 10th stewards meeting, we will be beginning our preparations for bargaining your next collective agreement. Your union listened to the concerns from the stewards to have all seats of the bargaining committee open for nominations and are now able to happily confirm this process.
Your bargaining committee will be comprised of four (4) Job Stewards, and one (1) alternate, as well as your Union Representative as the lead negotiator. As we look to have a diverse collective voice at the table, we hope to have the seats filled from the different regions of your unit as we recognize each area has their own unique concerns.
If you would like to sit on the committee, or if you would like to nominate one of your fellow Job Stewards, please step forward by completing the nomination form found here and return no later than 430pm, Friday November 27th, 2020.
