To: All MoveUP Executive Councillors
The Convention this year will be different and conducted online. This means delegates will not need to travel to downtown Vancouver, but can instead participate remotely. So you should have access to a computer reliably connected to the internet. It will still take place during working hours, so MoveUP will book you off for the necessary days from your regular work.”
MoveUP has budgeted for six (6) Executive Councillors, two each from Combined, Utility and ICBC units, to participate in the convention.
If you are interested in participating in the BCFED convention, please submit your name to Karen Caston (kcaston@moveuptogether.ca) by end of day, September 30th to be considered. If more than two members from each unit submit interest, an election will be done at the Executive Council meeting on Monday, October 5th.
