Reminder: Telephone Town Hall for ICBC members this Monday, April 27

This is a reminder for all of our MoveUP members at ICBC that we will be hosting a Telephone Town Hall (TTH) on Monday, April 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The call will be moderated by David Black, MoveUP President, and will feature Annette Toth, Vice-President, and Kevin Smyth, Senior Union Representative, who will be providing an update on the current status of collective bargaining. Once we provide an update, we will open the TTH to answer questions from our members.
We know that, right now, with so much disruption at ICBC, members will also want to ask questions related to COVID-19. However, we ask that on the TTH you allow us to get through all the bargaining issues first and, if there is still time, then we can talk about COVID-19. If, in the meantime, you have specific questions about COVID-19 and your work or bargaining, please email ICBCbarg@moveuptogether.ca.
This Sunday, you will receive an automated voice call from Annette reminding you about the Telephone Town Hall. If you receive this call, that’s perfect! It means we have your contact information and you are ready for the TTH. On Monday, you will receive a phone call between 6:30 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. at that same number to connect you live to the telephone town hall.
If you do not receive a call over the weekend, it means we do not have your most updated phone number. You should update your number as soon as possible on the Member Portal, as well as your personal email address as the latter will be required for a potential electronic voting situation. Please note we cannot call your ICBC phone number so your personal phone number will be critical. If you can not sign in to the Member Portal, you need to email membership@moveuptogether.ca so we can make sure you are ready for the TTH and voting down the road.
If you miss the call, you can still connect to the telephone town hall by dialing 1-877-229-8493 and entering ID CODE 112379 any time between 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 27.
