BCH & Powertech – Bargaining Update # 16

Your bargaining committee met with the employer in January and again on February 11, 2020.   Prior to meeting with the employer your bargaining committee met to review the outstanding proposals.  At the February 11^th meeting your union provided the employer with a complete set of counter proposals.

The employer has advised that they will review our proposals and respond on February 26^th.  The following dates have been scheduled to complete negotiations, February 26^th and 28^th and March 2^nd to 5^th.

If the parties are unable to reach an agreement by March 5^th, bargaining will likely be at an impasse in which case your committee will reach out to you to discuss our next steps.
