BCH & Powertech – Bargaining Update #14

Your Bargaining Committee met with the employer on December 4^th and 5^th to provide our responses to the employers’ monetary package, which includes, all previously agreed non-monetary proposals.  Although the parties have reached agreement on several non-monetary proposals, the union still has several non-monetary proposals, that need to be addressed.  Your bargaining committee did not agree, with several of the employer’s proposals in their monetary package and provided the employer with counter proposals.

The December 6^th bargaining date was cancelled, as the employer requires time to review the union’s counter proposals.  The union has provided the employer with dates for January 2020 to continue bargaining and are currently waiting for the employer to confirm their availability.  An update will be sent once we have confirmed dates for January 2020.
