Coast Mountain Bus – Bargaining Update #2

To: All MoveUP members at Coast Mountain Bus
Your Bargaining Committee met with the Employer on Tuesday July 9, 2019, at the Gateway Surrey Coast Mountain Bus head office where the parties exchanged their substantive non-monetary proposals. As expected the Employer tabled a handful of concessionary demands which the Bargaining Committee clearly advised we would not entertain.
The parties also met on Thursday July 11 and Friday July 12, 2019, where we agreed on house-keeping proposals and started to discuss each parties’ proposals in more depth. The parties have scheduled to meet again in the fall, from October 8 – October 11, 2019.
