Tentative Agreement Reached with IAMAW District Lodge 250

To: All MoveUP members at IAMAW District Lodge 250


Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative collective agreement with your employer, IAMAW District Lodge 250.

Some highlights of the tentative agreement include:

  • Three-year term, January 1, 2020 – December 31, 2022 with wage and pension improvements:
  • January 1, 2020 – 1.75% increase to pension from 10.25% to 12% 0.5% wage increase
  • January 1, 2021 – 2% wage increase
  • January 1, 2022 – 2% wage increase
  • New Gender Transition Leave language
  • New Alternative Dispute Resolution Language
  • New Anti-Bullying Language
  • Expanded role for Student Employees, which includes a 6% wage increase upon ratification, plus all other wage increases listed above
  • New Apprenticeship LOU

Your bargaining committee is strongly recommending ratification of the tentative collective agreement.

We will be holding a meeting on July 17, 2019, in order to review the tentative agreement with you. In attendance will be your bargaining committee. This will also be your opportunity to vote on the tentative agreement. The vote will be conducted by secret ballot. Please make every effort to attend.
