BCNU Staff Spotlight – Rachel Ram

What do BCNU support staff do for the hard-working nurses of BC? Meet Rachel…

Rachel has worked for BCNU since 2015 and helps ill and injured nurses with their disability claims and helps them get back to work.

“I love my job because we’re the last line of defense for nurses that are sick or injured and have had their Workers’ Compensation claim denied,” says Rachel.

Sometimes the people who Rachel supports are desperate because they don’t have incomes and have families to support.

The staff lockout/strike isn’t over because BCNU leaders haven’t offered administrative and technical employees a ‘no rollbacks’ contract.

Tell BCNU leaders to stand up for their values and walk the talk by negotiating a fair contract with MoveUP.
