Hastings Entertainment Inc.- Bargaining Update #13 –Tentative Agreement Rejected by Membership

Please be advised that the ballots were counted on December 17, 2017.

There were 83 ballots cast;

62 voted no to the final offer.

21 voted yes to the final offer

Therefore, the final offer was soundly rejected for the second time.

We would now hope the Employer believes our membership and comes back to the bargaining table with a better offer.

Part-time employees:  please send (12) twelve consecutive weeks of recent pay stubs to the Union, in care of the membership department. This is required in order to qualify for strike pay. If you get paid bi-weekly, please submit (6) six recent, consecutive pay stubs. We will make further opportunities to be available for you to bring your pay stubs.
