Electrical Service Coordinator Trainee Program Pilot Agreement

To all MoveUP members at BC Hydro:
Your Union has been in discussions with BC Hydro management regarding the application of the “musts” contained in the Electrical Service Coordinator postings regarding the requirement for “Math 12, English 12 and Physics 11” in order to be considered for positions.
We are very pleased to advise that a Pilot Agreement has been negotiated effective May 16, 2017 that will allow for employees who have at least one (1) but do not have all three (3) requirements to be considered for positions as they are posted after fully qualified applicants have been given priority.

This Pilot Agreement will provide greater opportunities for those employees who wish career advancement within BC Hydro in the future.
