Ratification Meeting – Voting on Tentative Agreement
We are writing to let you know that we will be conducting the ratification meeting to provide you with an opportunity to vote on whether you wish to accept the tentative agreement reached between your union and the employer, or not.
The meeting details are as follows:
DATE: Wednesday, November 3, 2021
TIME: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
PLACE: Zoom meeting (link sent to your home email address)
The voting for the tentative agreement will be done electronically and you will have to ensure that you are able to access the member portal to vote.
How You Vote?
To vote, simply log in to the Member Portal and you will see the option to vote on the screen. If you are having difficulty signing into the Member Portal or if you have not yet registered your account, you will need to send a request to membership@moveuptogether.ca for assistance. Once you have your membership number click here, before November 3, 2021.
Online voting
Voting opens: Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 8 a.m.
Voting closes: Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 8 p.m.
Enclosed is the copy of the Memorandum of Agreement for your review, you will find it here.
We hope to see you there and answer any questions you may have prior to you casting your vote. Remember, you will have to either vote “Yes”, which indicates you are accepting the tentative agreement, or you are voting “No”, which indicates that you are not accepting the tentative agreement.
Your bargaining committee is strongly recommending ratification of the tentative agreement.
