Victoria Shipyards – Tentative Agreement Reached and Ratification Vote

To: All Victoria Shipyards Members
The Boilermakers Local 191 and your employer reached a tentative Memorandum of Settlement (MOS). Please take time to review this Memorandum.
MoveUP is strongly recommending voting in favour of this Memorandum of Settlement to our membership. The Boilermakers Local 191 and the other unions at Victoria Shipyards have also agreed to recommend acceptance of this offer to their membership.
Highlights of the package for MoveUP members include:
Wage Increases
March 1, 2026 16%
March 1, 2027 5.5%
March 1, 2028 3% (with COLA up to 5%)
March 1, 2029 3% (with COLA up to 5%)
Ratification bonus of up to $2000 for eligible employees.
Details on how and when to vote on this Memorandum will be sent to all members tomorrow.
Again, your union is very strongly recommending acceptance of this proposed MOS.
