URGENT Changes to the Injury and Recovery Services Division – RAAP (corrected email address)

To: All MoveUP ICBC Injury Adjusters, Senior Injury Adjusters, Claims Examiners, Senior Claims Examiners, Recovery Benefits Coordinators and Job Stewards, Executive Councillors and Executive Board
This afternoon ICBC presented their planned transitions to some of the jobs due to the RAAP. These changes affect many of our members in the Injury Services Division, soon to be called Claims and Customer Recovery Services division, and we know that you may have concerns and questions. Your union has already been in conversation with ICBC to represent you and your interests.
Change, especially sweeping change like what was revealed today, can be exciting but also alarming. We know that you have much to say about these changes. We want to hear from you and we know you want to hear from us.
We have created an email address for you to send your concerns and questions, comments and feedback. It is raap@moveuptogether.ca. We have a dedicated person to respond to your emails as quickly as possible.
We are planning a telephone town hall, either later this week or early next week, depending on the responses we get over the next day or so.
We will be sharing your concerns with ICBC, because they need to know what you are thinking and feeling about their announcements.
Finally, we will be sending regular communication as questions arise and answers are received.
We look forward to connecting with you on what is once again a significant change to your work and career at ICBC.
