TST-CF – What to do between now and when voting starts on May 13

The upcoming vote where you can officially say YES to having MoveUP as your union at TST-CF Express is fast approaching.
The voting period will begin on May 13 at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT and run through until May 20 at 5:59 a.m. ET/2:29 a.m. PT.
Now that the voting dates have been confirmed, we know your employer will be putting some added pressure to try and sway you to reject the union or to not vote. This type of activity is illegal and if you come across this, make sure to document it privately including the names of individuals involved, time and date it occurred, and any other important notes. You can send those to union representative Mike Novak at mnovak@moveuptogether.ca as that can be used as potential evidence of anti-union activity down the line.
You should NEVER be harassed or intimidated at work for any reason, and that includes union activities. We have your back. To avoid these scenarios over the next couple of weeks, if you are asked about the union by a manager, we suggest to politely reply: “I am not interested in discussing it.”
Voting Information Reminder
You will be receiving a letter in the mail from the CIRB which will contain the voting details. This letter will also contain a PIN unique to each voter which you will need to cast your vote.
Once you receive this letter, you can vote any time as soon as the voting period opens. If you lose or misplace your PIN, please contact the VOTER HELP CENTRE toll free at 1-888-507-9875 or by e-mail at the following address: cirb@simplyvoting.com.
You should receive this letter by the first week of May.
