TST-CF – Transition agreement negotiations to begin in November

To: All new MoveUP members at TST-CF
We are writing to let our new members know that we have secured a series of meetings with your employer from November 2 to 4 in Ontario where we will be negotiating a transition agreement for our new members in this bargaining unit.
From MoveUP, you will be represented by myself (Mike Novak) alongside fellow union representative, Nathan Beausoleil. We will be meeting with TST-CF president Wayne Gruszka, along with various vice-presidents and the human resources manager.
A transition agreement is an agreement between our union and the employer on the terms and conditions of merging the new members into our existing collective agreement.
Those terms including confirming which positions fall into what categories, the timeline for the transition, as well as ensuring that all our members are covered so that everybody can have access to the wages and benefits that are enjoyed by our existing members.
