TST-CF Express: Update on benefits for Eastern Canada members

To: All MoveUP members at TST-CF (Quebec & Ontario)
This message is to advise our new members based in Eastern Canada (Quebec and Ontario) that your employer will be replacing your existing benefits (HCSA $700 per family) with our union’s group benefit plan, provided by Great-West Life, effective December 31, 2021.
This is a positive move for you as our member’s plan and entitlements far exceeds the entitlements you received under your previous plan. You can review what our members receive under the group benefit plan by reviewing Appendix B of the collective agreement (English only, French version coming soon). To learn how to register with and access your benefits on Great-West Life, click here.
We strongly encourage you to use any amount left over in your HCSA before December 31, 2021 as it will not carry forward to the New Year.
We will be meeting with your employer in January and February to continue negotiating wages for our new members.
