TransLink – Bi-Monthly Membership Meetings

To: All MoveUP members at TransLink
I hope this message finds you well and that all of you had a nice relaxing holiday break. I want to personally thank each of you for all the hard work and dedication you have shown during the COVID-19 pandemic. You have all played an integral part in keeping the transit system operational during the ongoing COVID crisis.
In light of the events last year with the pandemic and some of the feedback I have received, I have made the decision to hold regular bi-monthly virtual membership meetings with the membership. Your union regularly conducts meetings with the job stewards, however, we don’t regularly meet with the general membership. We hope to change that this year. I am hoping that folks will attend and tell me more about the issues they are facing in the workplace and how the union can collectively assist you folks.

All meetings will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. via zoom. You will receive a reminder notice each month with the login details. Please note a separate bulletin will be sent out next week for our upcoming Membership meeting on Monday, January 26, 2021.
