The Human Rights & Multicultural committee invite delegates, friends and community allies to join the NWDLC Indigenous Standing Committee for a celebration marking National Indigenous History Month.

Start: Saturday, June 15, 2024 11 a.m.
End: Saturday, June 15, 2024  3 p.m.

We are honoured to begin with an opening by Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Elders Sam and Les George, followed by bannock and light refreshments.

Come ready to learn and participate in Indigenous and Métis arts, crafts and music.

The following workshops still have vacancies:

**The drum making workshop is full*

• Beadmaking
• Wool weaving
• Making indigenous oils with local plants (Hank Williams from Səl̓ilwətaɁɬ təməxʷ First Nation)

Everyone is welcome to this all ages event, registration in advance is required to ensure there are enough supplies.
