Tentative Agreement Reached with WVIS

To: All WVIS Members
Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that we have finalized negotiating a tentative collective agreement with your employer, WVIS.
Some highlights of the tentative agreement include:
- 3 year agreement
- 2.25% wage increase in Year 1, 2% wage increase in year 2, and 2% wage increase in year 3
- $300.00 Signing Bonus
- Bi-Annual Paid Leave for Union Meetings
- Long service bonuses for 15 and 20 years of employment
- Increase to Funeral Leave
- Gender Transition Leave and Domestic Violence Leave
- Access to Sick Leave Banking
- Increases to Employer matching on RRSP contributions
- Implementation of a $300.00 per year Health Spending Account
Your bargaining committee is strongly recommending ratification of the tentative collective agreement.
We will be holding a meeting shortly in order to review the tentative agreement with you. This will also be your opportunity to vote on the tentative agreement. The vote will be conducted by secret ballot. Please make every effort to attend.
