PrairieCoast Bargaining Update

To: All MoveUP members at PrairieCoast
Your bargaining committee has completed the bargaining proposals and will be meeting with the employer in February to exchange proposals. Both parties will have time to consider the proposals, and the committee has several dates scheduled to bargain in March. We are confident that we will make inroads during these bargaining dates, and we will schedule more bargaining dates if need be.
We are asking more members of your unit to put their name forward for a job steward position, as we need one more person on the bargaining committee. Please email your vice president of combined units, Christy Slusarenko, at cslusarenko@moveuptogether.ca to put your name forward. Feel free to contact us with any further questions you have about this position.
We are looking forward to making great gains in bargaining and ratifying a collective agreement as soon as possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
