To: MoveUP members employed at Accenture at Burnaby Edmonds Annex, C01 Pod C-1st Floor, C02 Pod C-2nd Floor. Members employed at BC Hydro at Edmonds A01 Pod A 1st Floor, A02 Pod A 2nd Floor, A03 Pod A 3rd Floor, Annex, Annex W1, Annex W3, B01 Pod B 1st Floor, B02 Pod B 2nd Floor, B03 Pod B 3rd Floor, B-P2, C01 Pod C 1st Floor, C02 Pod C 2nd Floor, C03 Pod C 3rd Floor, Operation Centre 1, Operation Centre 2, Tower 4th to 16th Floor
These areas have eight at-large positions. Two of these councillor positions are currently filled.
Six Positions Term Ending: April 30, 2023
Due to vacancies remaining from the recent 2020 triennial executive councillor elections and in accordance with the constitution, we are running a by-election for the above councillor positions.
As an executive councillor in your workplace, you are the spokesperson for your union. You are a vital link between the membership and the elected leadership. You, along with other job stewards, speak for your fellow members in the day to day relations between our union and management. In addition, you participate in five executive council meetings a year where you can take part in the direction and decision making of your union. Note that you may run in an executive council area that is not your own work location, however, your nominators must be working in that area.

Should we receive more than one nomination form, an election will be called with voting to be held by electronic ballot. Due to Covid-19 we are accepting nominations without hand-written signatures. Consult the nomination form instructions for all requirements.
