EC Areas #1534 – #1535 represents members employed at FortisBC Energy Inc. at Abbotsford Muster, Burnaby Ops, Burnaby Stores 1, Burnaby Stores 2, Burnaby Home, Chilliwack Muster, Cranbrook, FBC Centre, Kamloops, Kelowna, Langley Muster, North Vancouver, Penticton Commercial, Penticton Okanagan, Port Coquitlam Muster, Prince George, Richmond Muster, Trail, Vernon, Willingdon Contract Centre 3rd Floor
There are two at-large positions in these EC areas. One of these councillor positions is currently filled.
Term Ending: April 30, 2023
Due to the resignation of Michael Carr and in accordance with the constitution, we are running a by-election for the above councillor position.
As an executive councillor in your workplace, you are the spokesperson for your union. You are a vital link between the membership and the elected leadership. You, along with other job stewards, speak for your fellow members in the day to day relations between our union and management. In addition, you attend five executive council meetings a year where you can participate in the direction and decision making of your union. You can find more detailed information on your role in the Executive Councillor Handbook which is available on the resources page for stewards and councillors of our website.
