New Westminster & District Labour Council endorses Stacey Wakeline in SD35 by-election

The New Westminster & District Labour Council has endorsed Stacey Wakeline in the upcoming Langley School Board (SD35) by-election.
Stacey, a parent of two high-school students and founder of BC Families for Inclusivity, is a proven leader and activist who has been a voice for equality for LGBTQ2S+ youth and engaged in anti-racism work. Learn more about Stacey by clicking here.
The by-election day takes place on Saturday, February 27 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m at the locations listed below.
Aldergrove Community Secondary School (26850 – 29 Avenue)
George Preston Recreation Centre (20699 – 42 Avenue)
James Hill Elementary School (22144 Old Yale Road)
James Kennedy Elementary School (9060 – 212 Street)
Lynn Fripps Elementary School (21020 – 83 Avenue)
R.C. Garnett Demonstration Elementary School (7096 – 201 Street)
Advance polling days are available from February 17 to 19 at the locations listed below. All advance voting is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mail-in ballot voting is also available. For more information on how to vote, click here.
Wednesday, February 17 – Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre – 26770 29 Avenue. Enter through the meeting room door.
Thursday, February 18 – Willowbrook/Willoughby Township Civic Facility, 20338 65 Avenue – 1st floor – enter through the first floor entrance.
Friday, February 19 – Walnut Grove Recreation Centre gymnasium, 8889 Walnut Grove Drive. Drive around the back of the building (past the pool) to the parking lot at the back and enter through the gym doors
