To: All MoveUP Members in the Lower Mainland
We are disappointed to inform our members that this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the physical distancing requirements that come with it, our Human Rights & Multicultural Committee (HRMC) will not be able to order or distribute our beloved mooncakes to members.
Just as many other festivities and celebrations have needed to adapt to this unprecedented time, we are hoping to offer an alternative to acknowledge the Mid-Autumn Festival that is so cherished by our members.
Your HRMC is asking you – our members –to please share with us your stories, photos or videos of how you and your loved ones celebrate this time-honoured festival.
Do you make your own mooncakes? If so, send us a video!
Do you make time to deliver mooncakes to family and friends? Send in some photos!
We would love to show off how our members celebrate and enjoy the festival on our social media channels such as Facebook and Instagram!
