Master Trade Union Group (MTUG) – Tentative Agreement Reached – Membership Meeting
October 9, 2024
To: All MoveUP members working at MTUG Employer Worksites
We are pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative collective agreement with your employer with no concessions. The tentative agreement includes:
4 year agreement with full retroactivity from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2028 as follows:
Effective January 1, 2025 3.50% Increase to all Categories
Effective January 1, 2026 3.50% Increase to all Categories
Effective January 1, 2027 3.25% Increase to all Categories
Effective January 1, 2028 3.25% Increase to all Categories
Wage Reopener
In the event the Canadian Consumer Price Index (CPI) exceeds the negotiated wage increase in Year 4 of this agreement (2028), the parties shall meet within thirty (30) days) of CPI data having being released to discuss a remedy.

The parties agree to unanimously recommend acceptance of this Memorandum of Agreement to their respective principals.
We will be holding a meeting in order to review the tentative agreement with you. The meeting details are as follows:
