Lu’ma Native Housing Society – Bargaining Update #1

To: All MoveUP members at Lu’ma Native Housing Society
Your Bargaining Committee met with your employer on August 5, 6, 7, 8, 2025, to commence collective bargaining. During this meeting, your committee presented a comprehensive proposal package to your employer’s representatives based on the requested improvements that were identified in the bargaining survey and at membership meetings.
As is the normal process for bargaining, the parties have agreed to address non-monetary items before discussing monetary proposals. There was respectful dialogue with your employer’s bargaining committee, and we were able to make progress in discussing the proposals that we tabled. We will continue these discussions at our next session. The parties will be meeting again on August 25, 26, 27, 2025 to continue bargaining.
