Ladysmith & District Credit Union – Bargaining Update # 1

Dear Members,
We hope this message finds you well. We would like to provide you with an important update regarding our recent bargaining activities.
Your bargaining committee met with the employer on September 25-26. During these sessions, both parties exchanged proposals and signed off on a bargaining protocol agreement. We made significant progress, getting through all non-monetary and monetary proposals on the first day. On the second day, we focused our discussions on wages, duration, and vacation entitlement.
While the parties are eager to reach a tentative agreement, we are not quite there yet. We are scheduled to meet again on October 8-9 to continue our discussions.
We thank you for your continued support and patience as we work diligently to secure the best and fairest deal possible for all members.
